Monacoan authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a foreign national identified as the suspect in a parcel bombing that injured three people earlier this week. The prosecutor's office announced that an Interpol Red Notice would also be issued for the individual, who is no longer in Monaco.

The incident occurred Monday evening when an individual was captured on surveillance video leaving a package in the entrance hall of a building. An explosion followed shortly thereafter as three people entered the area, sustaining serious injuries. The investigation is currently focused on attempted murder, not terrorism.

Following the blast at an apartment building near the French border, the suspect was observed fleeing towards the French commune of Beausoleil. While initial reports suggested the suspect was a man wearing a black hat, local media has since indicated the individual may be a woman attempting to conceal her identity. Monaco's public prosecutor, Stéphane Thibault, did not confirm these details but praised the swift cooperation between Monaco and French police in identifying the suspect.

Authorities are expected to provide further updates on the case Friday afternoon.
