The owner of an agency that provided dancers for a private Sydney Swans hotel party has refuted claims made by one of the dancers, who alleged she was abandoned and later smeared in a WhatsApp group following an incident at the Pullman Hotel. Jasmine, owner of Party Girls Melbourne, stated that she managed the arrangements according to standard procedures and that the dancer's account is inaccurate.
The dispute centers on events that occurred in the early hours of a Monday morning at the Pullman East Melbourne hotel, where several high-profile Sydney Swans players were gathered. The dancer claims that after experiencing distress and alleging sexual assault, she called Jasmine from the hotel lobby around 8 a.m. The dancer asserts that Jasmine initially took her call but then hung up. Victoria Police have confirmed they attended the hotel following a report of an alleged sexual assault.
Five Sydney Swans players—Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner, Riley Bice, Nick Blakey, and James Jordon—have been stood down for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season. The club stated these actions were due to breaches of its standards, including staying out late, drinking, and bringing women back to the hotel. These suspensions are separate from the ongoing police investigation, and no charges have been laid.
Jasmine told the Daily Mail that she believes "a lot of drugs were involved" in the incident. She maintained that she acted professionally and followed her standard contracts, which she said are designed to protect privacy. According to Jasmine, she advised the distressed dancer to provide her contact details to the police for any necessary follow-up. She added that unless the dancer had a recording of their conversation that contradicted her recollection, her version of events was accurate.
The dancer, however, presented a different narrative. She alleged that in the days following the hotel incident, Jasmine sent her a WhatsApp message accusing her of using ketamine. The dancer denied these accusations, stating she was sober and had driven to the hotel with a friend, which would have been impossible if she were under the influence of ketamine. She further claimed that Jasmine was not present during the hotel incident and therefore could not accurately assess what transpired.
"Everything she is saying is false," the dancer stated. "I'm sober, I promised my family I would quit drinking and I drove there with my friend, how could I drive through Melbourne city streets if I was on ketamine?"
Adding to the controversy, rumors have circulated that dancers may have recorded events within the hotel room. A viral WhatsApp message, purportedly from someone present, claimed a woman in the lobby was overheard stating, "We have everything recorded" from the room. Further speculation suggested that cameras might have been set up by the dancers.
Sydney Swans senior coach Dean Cox has issued an apology to the women involved and stated that details regarding any other Swans staff members present at the hotel would be part of the police investigation. The Daily Mail understands that three lap dancers have provided official statements to detectives.
