The cast of the medical drama "The Pitt" made a notable appearance on the red carpet for the 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday night. The series, which follows a fictional emergency room in Pittsburgh, is a leading contender this year with 25 nominations, the most of any show.
Among the evening's nominations, Noah Wyle is recognized for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch. The series itself is also a contender for Outstanding Drama Series. "The Pitt" premiered its second season in January.
Cast members arrived in style for the event. Noah Wyle sported a tan suit jacket with satin lapel trim, black pants, a black bowtie, and black patent leather dress shoes. Katherine LaNasa, who plays Charge Nurse Dana Evans, chose a slim-fit, sky blue gown featuring draping at the bust. She accessorized with dangling diamond earrings and a bold red lip, her hair styled in an updo. Supriya Ganesh, portraying senior resident Dr. Samira Mohan, also opted for sky blue in a more elaborate gown with a ruffled silk skirt and sheer hemline, complemented by a diamond necklace and teardrop earrings.
Gerran Howell, who plays Dr. Dennis Whitaker, appeared in a classic black suit with a collarless white shirt and black shoes.
Shabana Azeez, known for her role as medical student Victoria Javadi, wore a striking gold metallic dress featuring a corset top and a silk skirt with a train. Isa Briones, who plays Dr. Trinity Santos, donned a metallic green-gold gown with beaded detailing at the neckline and a high-low hemline.
Fiona Dourif, playing Dr. Cassie McKay, chose a winter-chic ensemble in a maroon, fur-textured gown with an asymmetrical cape. She opted not to wear jewelry with the outfit.
During a red carpet interview, Wyle expressed hope that the series could raise awareness for societal issues, stating, "Hopefully, we're moving the cultural needle slowly on some of these major issues, whether it's gun control or the fact that people are really burdened by healthcare costs and medical debt, or the fact that so many people are going to be going out without health insurance going forward on the other side of January."
He added, "We try to touch on these things that are really relevant in people's lives, and I think people respond to it."
At the 2025 Emmy Awards, "The Pitt" secured several awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series.
