Stacey Solomon has offered her followers a preview of her family's new £2.5 million home in Essex, a significant upgrade from their previous residence, 'Pickle Cottage.' The TV star, her husband Joe Swash, and their five children have relocated to a larger country manor situated on 30 acres of land.

The new property, described as an imposing Victorian retreat, reportedly includes stables, a coach house, and its own lake. Solomon, who has built a substantial business around home renovation and decor, has been sharing details of the 8,000-square-foot house with her 6.1 million Instagram followers as she begins renovation projects.

Hallway and Fireplace Features

Solomon expressed enthusiasm for the home's grand hallway, which she likened to "the Home Alone hallway of my childhood dreams." She shared a video of the staircase, which she is considering sanding back and lightening or painting, noting its historical charm but also its need for attention. "Every little detail is just so special I want to honor them but also they need some TLC!" she commented, asking followers for their opinions.

In the living room, Solomon showcased what she called "the biggest fireplace I’ve ever seen in my life." She described the room as peaceful and light, featuring high ceilings, large windows, and real wood flooring. While appreciating the fireplace's scale and beauty, she questioned if it might be too large for the room, noting it gives the illusion of a shorter ceiling height. "It's taller than me, is it too tall?" she asked her followers.

Family Move and Future Plans

Solomon officially announced the family's move last week, posting a photo from the doorstep of their new property with the caption, "Home is wherever I'm with you... Pickle Project, Here We Go." Their previous home, the Tudor-style 'Pickle Cottage,' was a 2.5-acre listed property where Solomon gave birth to her daughters Rose and Belle and married Joe Swash in 2022.

The family, which includes children Zachary, 18, Leighton, 14, Rex, 7, Rose, 4, and Belle, 3, as well as Joe's son Harry, 19, decided to move to accommodate a long-held desire for more space. Solomon explained that the new location would allow for a larger vegetable garden and the ability to provide land for animals in need, including their horses and ponies.

"It's a project, we're moving somewhere really really different and it does need a lot of love and I'm excited to do that all again," Solomon stated about the ongoing renovation efforts.
