Spain's World Cup-winning team reportedly cropped President Donald Trump out of their official championship team picture, an act that has drawn parallels to Democrats' inability to exclude Trump from political victories since 2016. According to the report, Trump attempted to photobomb the shot, and a FIFA official intervened, escorting him away from the team.
In unrelated commentary from the tournament, English soccer legend Wayne Rooney described the halftime show as "crap" and that his favorite part was "when it was finished."
The notes also mention an upcoming baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies. Pitcher Justin Wrobleski of the Dodgers, who holds a 10-2 record, previously threw a one-hitter against the Phillies on May 29. Zack Wheeler of the Phillies has a 10-1 record, with his single loss also occurring on May 29.
