The animated series "South Park" marked its recent Emmy Award win for Outstanding Animated Program with a jab at former President Donald Trump, specifically targeting his perceived obsession with accolades.

The show posted on social media a congratulatory message featuring a cartoon depiction of Trump holding an Emmy. This gesture played on Trump's frequent complaints about never winning an Emmy for his former reality show, "The Apprentice." He has publicly stated he felt "screwed" out of awards and that the Emmys lack credibility due to his absence of wins.

While the celebratory image referenced the show's Emmy win, a recent episode, "Sermon on the 'Mount," featured a different portrayal of Trump. In a mock public service announcement, a live-action impersonator of Trump was shown wandering through a desert, with a narrator stating, "No matter how hot it gets, he's not afraid to fight for America." The segment concluded with a visual gag involving a small penis with googly eyes emerging from the impersonator's crotch, declaring, "I'm Donald J. Trump and I endorse this message." The narrator added, "Trump. His penis is teeny tiny, but his love for us is large."

Trump's involvement was a recurring theme in the season, which included storylines involving an affair between Trump and Satan, resulting in a demonic pregnancy. Following the episode's broadcast, the White House criticized "South Park," calling it a "fourth-rate" show that had not been relevant for over two decades. "South Park" is scheduled to return on September 16.
