Beth Bartram, a British mother of three who has cultivated a significant social media following, has shared the regimen she employs to maintain her legs.
Bartram, who has amassed over 620,000 followers, stated that the question she receives most frequently from her audience pertains to the secret behind her sculpted legs. At 41, she says she is ready to share her approach, which involves a mix of yoga, walking, and bodyweight exercises performed at home.
"I don't do 'leg day' never have. I find a mix of yoga, walking and specific bodyweight exercises at home gives me a better shape," Bartram explained. "I also have a specific routine for my legs. Exfoliate, then retinol moisturizer while skin's still wet."
She dedicates approximately 25 minutes each day to her leg-focused routine, incorporating exercises such as leg raises, squats, and lunges. Bartram noted that this approach allows her to build strength and tone without relying on gym equipment or high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
Some days, her workouts are equipment-free, while other times she incorporates resistance bands for glutes or light weights. Bartram emphasized that the key is finding a sustainable routine that fits into a busy lifestyle.
"This is what it is all about for me. It's not even about having the perfect body, it's just finding something that works for our lifestyle now that we are a bit older and probably too busy to get to the gym," she said. "It works because you're able to stick to it without taking over your life and your schedule."
Bartram contrasted this with her previous routine of spending five hours a week at the gym, stating that consistently working out for 25 minutes daily at home has led to weight loss, increased tone, and leaner limbs. She expressed feeling better now than ever before, attributing it to a simple, consistent plan.
Beyond her leg routine, Bartram also mentioned that she never skips a day without moving her body, finding enjoyment in exercise for its mood-boosting and sleep-enhancing benefits. She also shared that her daily supplements include collagen, electrolytes, protein, probiotics, and a multivitamin. Her approach to daily outfits is described as "effortless but put together," favoring neutral, easy-to-wear pieces that integrate with her existing wardrobe. Similarly, her skincare routine focuses on consistency over complexity, a philosophy she believes has significantly improved her skin's condition.
