Colleen Zenk, known for her roles on "The Young and the Restless" and "As the World Turns," was arrested on May 15 in Naples, Florida, on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) with damage to property or another person, and DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher. This marks her third DUI arrest in 16 years.
According to records from the Collier County Sheriff's Office, Zenk, 73, was taken into custody after a witness observed her striking another vehicle while backing out of a handicapped parking spot near a Tommy Bahama location. The witness reported that Zenk appeared to stumble when exiting her vehicle and stated she had consumed two cups of wine at a nearby establishment.
Zenk reportedly struggled with field sobriety tests, showing an inability to maintain balance and exhibiting rapid, side-to-side eye movements during one exercise. Responding officers noted she swayed to an extent that raised concerns about her stability. Breath samples provided by Zenk indicated blood alcohol content levels of 0.206 and 0.192.
Her vehicle was towed, and her dog was taken to an animal services location. Zenk bonded out of custody on May 16. She was previously arrested for DUI in May 2017 in Collier County, Florida, and in April 2010 in Wilton, Connecticut, for erratic driving.
Zenk made a return to "The Young and the Restless" in late 2023, and her most recent appearance was in January 2025. Her representative stated that the charges are being defended and that Zenk has pleaded not guilty. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for July 29, 2026.
