Country music superstar Shania Twain, 60, revealed a unique morning ritual: riding horses in her pajamas. Twain, who is preparing to celebrate her 61st birthday, described this activity as a "great escape" and shared that she sometimes brings her horses on tour, a process that requires significant planning.

Twain, who currently resides in Switzerland with her husband Frédéric Thiébaud, reflected on aging and her life experiences. "I started life out a little bit on the tough side," she said, adding, "In my 60s now, I feel like I've really gotten it, or I'm just now getting all of that right." She humorously noted, "I plan to live to be 200 anyway!"

The singer also discussed her approach to skincare, revealing that she uses a homemade makeup remover consisting of olive oil and sugar scrub, which she described in a video for Harper's Bazaar in May 2024. She noted that the "positive side to menopause" for her is skin that is no longer "flaky" or prone to "breakouts," but rather a "combination" type with an oily T-zone. After removing makeup, she applies an anti-aging serum and night cream from Rationale.

Twain's upcoming album, "Little Miss Twain," set for release on July 24, delves into her challenging childhood and early adulthood. She spoke about the responsibilities she shouldered from a young age due to her mother's frequent depression and the presence of violence in the home. "We didn't eat well a lot of the times. We weren't clothed properly a lot of the time," she recalled. The situation intensified when her parents died in a car crash when she was 22, leaving Twain as the guardian of her younger siblings. "When I reflect back on those times, I'm reflecting on them from where I am now, which is a very good place. Like, I made it out of there," she stated, emphasizing the accomplishment of remaining connected to her origins. "It's the contrast that makes it feel so good."
