Gomez, 33, recently reunited with Blanco, 38, after spending an extended period apart while she filmed the latest season of her Hulu series, "Only Murders in the Building," overseas. Despite Blanco's admitted fear of flying, he arranged to travel by ship to be with Gomez for her birthday on July 22.
He documented his journey on TikTok, posting a video of himself aboard a vessel with the caption, "POV: ur traveling across the atlantic in the titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying." He added, "the things we do for love."
The Instagram carousel also featured images of the couple embracing, with Blanco holding Gomez from behind while she held a drink. Gomez, who is based in Los Angeles, wore a brown maxi dress in several photos that appeared to be from a celebration. Blanco, a music producer, recently spoke about the early stages of their relationship, revealing that Gomez asked if he was sure about pursuing a public romance due to her fame. He told the Spanish publication El País that he ultimately decided to embrace their relationship publicly, noting the support of their friends and family.
The couple kept their relationship private for approximately eight to nine months before confirming it in December 2023. They became engaged shortly after, with Gomez announcing their engagement on social media and showcasing a diamond ring. They married in a ceremony in Santa Barbara. Blanco previously described the initial weeks of their marriage as "a dream."
