Restaurant owner Riccardo Lelli described Gomez and Blanco as "absolutely amazing, very lovely, good-hearted people." Waitress Saria Ahmed also shared a positive experience, recalling a minor, humorous "faux pas" when recommending a bottle of prosecco.
Blanco, who reportedly has a fear of flying, previously traveled by boat to be with Gomez for her birthday, documenting his journey on social media with the caption, "The things we do for love."
