Staff at iHeartRadio's Manhattan headquarters were instructed to keep singer K. Michelle and radio host Angela Yee separated during K. Michelle's recent visit to the studios, according to a report by Page Six. The precautions were taken due to an ongoing feud between the two that dates back to a 2016 interview on the "Breakfast Club."

During that interview, shortly after K. Michelle released her album "More Issues Than Vogue," the singer confronted Yee. K. Michelle accused Yee of mishandling a discussion involving crude comments made by rappers Maino and Uncle Murda, who had previously appeared on the show. The rappers had discussed a rumor concerning K. Michelle's intimate hygiene, and the singer felt Yee's handling of the topic, which resurfaced the rumor, was inappropriate and could have negatively impacted her album promotion.

When K. Michelle visited the iHeartRadio studios this week to promote her new country album, "Jesus & Whiskey," the network reportedly took steps to ensure the two did not interact. Yee, who now hosts the show "Way Up with Angela Yee" immediately after "The Breakfast Club," broadcasts from the same New York studios. Sources told Page Six that K. Michelle was placed in a different green room than is typical for "Breakfast Club" guests to maintain distance from Yee's studio.

Angela Yee has previously stated that she did not intend to embarrass K. Michelle during their 2016 exchange and chose not to escalate the on-air confrontation, believing it would be unproductive.

An iHeart representative told Page Six that there were no security requests from either party and that K. Michelle and Angela Yee did not see each other during the visit. Page Six has reached out to both women for comment.
