Search Underway for Missing Energy Executive Paddleboarding in Florida
U.S. Coast Guard crews are searching for Matt Pawlowski, 48, last seen four miles east of Jupiter Beach.
A search is ongoing for Matt Pawlowski, 48, an energy executive who disappeared while paddleboarding off the coast of Florida. Pawlowski was last seen on Monday around 9 a.m. on a 14-foot lime green and yellow paddleboard, approximately four miles east of Jupiter Beach.
The U.S. Coast Guard has deployed air and surface crews to conduct the search, which is being guided by Pawlowski's last known position, estimated drift patterns, and potential routes.
According to the U.S. Coast Guard, Pawlowski was reportedly wearing a white hat, an orange shirt, and gray shorts. His family reported him missing after he failed to return from his paddleboarding excursion.
Pawlowski's professional background includes his role as Vice President – Head of Execution at NextEra Energy Transmission. Sources have confirmed his employment with the company.
