A 13-year-old schoolboy was airlifted to a hospital after being stabbed near Eastbourne seafront on Sunday afternoon. Sussex Police confirmed the boy sustained an injury consistent with a stabbing and are now searching for a group of youths who fled the scene.
The assault occurred around 5:10 p.m. on Grand Parade, near the junctions of Elms Avenue and Cavendish Place. Police have stated that there will be an increased police presence in the area to aid in the investigation and provide reassurance to the public.
