The comedy film ‘Scary Movie 6’ is set to begin streaming on Paramount+ on Thursday, September 3, 2026. The movie will be available starting at 12:01 AM Pacific Time and 3:01 AM Eastern Time.

‘Scary Movie 6’ marks the return of several key characters, including Marlon Wayans as Shorty, Anna Faris as Cindy Campbell, and Regina Hall as Brenda. The film parodies recent horror revivals and other popular horror films. It has achieved success at the box office, becoming the only live-action comedy of 2026 to surpass $100 million domestically.

Following its theatrical run, the film became available for premium video-on-demand rental and purchase. Now, its move to a subscription streaming service, Paramount+, follows a pattern similar to the ‘Scream’ franchise, which also lands its installments on the platform.

Paramount+ offers two subscription tiers: Essential, which is ad-supported and costs $8.99 per month, and Premium, which is ad-free and includes Showtime titles and live CBS, priced at $13.99 per month. A seven-day free trial of the Premium plan is currently available.

Distribution rights for ‘Scary Movie 6’ are held by Paramount, which is also the current home of the ‘Scream’ franchise. This partnership makes Paramount+ the exclusive subscription streaming home for the latest ‘Scary Movie’ installment.
