Major League Wrestling (MLW) star Scarlett Bordeaux has advised fellow female wrestlers to take proactive steps in safeguarding their personal information online, particularly from overzealous fans. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Bordeaux explained her approach to helping wrestlers protect their privacy.
Bordeaux, who has been a prominent figure in professional wrestling for years, shared advice she gives to wrestlers who report that fans are crossing boundaries. She specifically recommended utilizing websites that can remove personal data, such as phone numbers and home addresses, from the internet.
"This is something I would tell all of the girls in the locker rooms when they would say they were having an issue where it’s some fan that’s crossing the line," Bordeaux stated. "I would tell them there’s different websites where you can actually have them remove your info off the internet. So, they would remove your phone number, they’ll remove your address."
She emphasized that with the current ease of data accessibility, protecting personal details is crucial. "I had recommended to all of my friends that way fans cannot send you mail, they can’t find where you live because I feel like with our data being sold right now it’s easy to find people. It’s easier than it’s ever been," she added.
Bordeaux's advice comes amid a broader conversation about online safety and privacy for public figures. Other wrestlers, such as Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace, have also recently spoken out about unsettling encounters with fans, highlighting the need for increased security measures.
Bordeaux herself is a significant presence in MLW's women's division. She and her husband, Killer Kross, rejoined the company after prior stints elsewhere. Bordeaux is considered a top contender for the MLW Women's World Championship.
