Savannah Guthrie has released a new video plea, publicly asking the individuals who abducted her mother, Nancy Guthrie, to disclose her location. The television presenter urged the abductors to "do the right thing" and help the family find the 84-year-old, who was taken from her home near Tucson, Arizona, on January 31.

"It has been months since our mom was taken from us," Guthrie said in the video posted Monday. "Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end. Nothing about our situation has changed. We have done our part, and we will never stop looking for her. We will always ache for her and feel that hole in our hearts."

Investigators believe Nancy Guthrie was abducted against her will. While a motive has not been shared and no suspects have been arrested, authorities are treating the case as an active investigation. The Pima County Sheriff's Department has stated that their inquiry remains ongoing but has declined to comment on specific details, including the contents of any ransom notes.

In the days following the January kidnapping, two ransom notes believed to be credible were reportedly sent to news media. The first note demanded millions in Bitcoin for Nancy Guthrie's release and included specific details about her home and its surroundings. A second note, sent shortly after, stated that she had died. Savannah Guthrie has previously indicated that some ransom notes sent to the family may have been fake and has acknowledged the possibility that her mother may no longer be alive.

Nancy Guthrie, who requires daily medication, was last seen after relatives dropped her off at her home. She failed to appear for a virtual church service the following morning. Earlier this year, law enforcement released images of a masked and armed individual captured on a security camera at Nancy Guthrie's home shortly before her disappearance.

Guthrie’s plea marks another public appeal in a case that has spanned nearly six months, with the family and law enforcement continuing efforts to locate her. "Help us bring this situation to an end," Guthrie said in the video. "For all of us, no matter where we've been and what we've done, I believe there is always a way home. Please make the right choice."
