Savannah Guthrie became emotional when discussing Allison Janney's tribute to her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, following Janney's Emmy win. "It was her moment, her triumph," Guthrie said Tuesday on the "Today" show. "For her to sit and just take a moment to think about our family [meant a lot]."

Janney, who won an Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series, publicly acknowledged Nancy Guthrie, who was abducted from her Arizona home in February. Janney told reporters after the ceremony that she thinks about Nancy Guthrie "every day."

"I never let a moment pass if I get one to talk about my mom and how I miss her," Savannah Guthrie stated, noting that her family is still experiencing significant pain seven months after her mother's disappearance.

"We need help," Guthrie pleaded, expressing her thanks to Janney for remembering her family and providing an opportunity to renew the public appeal. "We just want our mom home [to] give her a proper goodbye. That's all."

Her "Today" show co-host Willie Geist shared the FBI tip line information as Guthrie tearfully urged individuals with any information to come forward anonymously.
