Actress Sarah Chalke is stepping in as a guest co-host for "Live with Kelly and Mark" this week, joining Mark Consuelos at the desk while Kelly Ripa undergoes recovery from gum graft surgery. Chalke began her stint on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Chalke is part of a rotating lineup of guest hosts who are filling in for Ripa throughout the week. Other celebrities scheduled to co-host include Jenna Dewan, Live announcer Déjà Vu, Michelle Buteau, and Carrie Coon. During Chalke's appearance, she and Consuelos are slated to interview guests such as "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Garcelle Beauvais and "The Pitt" star Isa Briones.
The current season of "Live with Kelly and Mark" is scheduled to conclude on August 28. The show will then begin its annual summer hiatus.
Chalke recently reprised her role as Elliot Reid in a "Scrubs" revival on Hulu. Discussing the decision for her character and J.D. Dorian (Zach Braff) to be divorced in the revival, Chalke told Decider earlier this year that she felt it was the "right way to do this," aiming to inject more drama into the comedy series. Fans will see Chalke, Braff, and Donald Faison return for a second season of the revival.
"Live with Kelly and Mark" airs on weekdays. Local listings can be found on the show's official website.
