A 49-year-old man, identified as Alfredo Salvio Orozco, has been arrested in San Francisco following a road rage incident captured on video in which he clung to the side of a moving SUV.

The confrontation occurred on California Street in the Richmond neighborhood. Video footage shows Salvio Orozco running alongside a black Toyota RAV4, banging on its hood, and then hanging from the driver's side window as the SUV attempted to drive away. His own sedan was left in the middle of the road with its driver's door open.

Onlookers were heard expressing shock, with one voice on the video exclaiming, "He's running him over. Call 911, call 911." The San Francisco Police Department investigated the incident and reported that Salvio Orozco allegedly attempted to vandalize the SUV and made threats toward the driver without provocation.

Salvio Orozco has been charged with suspicion of vandalism, making criminal threats, and throwing an object at a vehicle with the intent to cause great bodily injury. On June 25, the San Francisco Criminal Court found sufficient probable cause to proceed with the case. Court records indicate Salvio Orozco was released on his own recognizance, without monetary bail.
