Legendary rock band RUSH is set to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City for a series of four concerts from July 28 to August 3. This marks the band's first performances at the iconic venue in over a decade as part of their ongoing 'Fifty Something Tour.'

Last-minute tickets for these shows are currently available, with prices starting as low as $221 including fees on SeatGeek, the official ticketing partner. Other available seats range from $226 to $264. A promo code, NYPOST10, offers $10 off purchases over $250 for first-time SeatGeek users.

Prior to their New York engagement, RUSH, performing with drummer Anika Nilles filling in for the late Neil Peart, played multiple dates at Chicago's United Center. According to Set List FM, these concerts featured around 24 to 28 songs, including notable tracks such as "Tom Sawyer," "The Spirit of Radio," "Subdivisions," "Working Man," and the extended "2112."

The 'Fifty Something Tour' is scheduled to continue through December, with RUSH playing additional dates across the country. The band's setlists have included a wide range of their hits, with recent shows featuring songs like "Xanadu," "Limelight," "The Trees," and "Freewill." Tributes to Neil Peart are also incorporated into the performances.

Nilles, who joined the band for this tour, is a 43-year-old drummer from Germany, known for her original compositions and previous collaborations, including a European run with Jeff Beck. Peart's widow, Carrie Nuttall-Peart, and his daughter, Olivia, have expressed support for the tour, celebrating the band's legacy and Neil's unique contributions as a drummer and lyricist.

Geddy Lee, the band's bassist and vocalist, released his memoir "My Effin' Life" in 2023, reflecting on his career and life in music. He stated that completing the book was intended to free him to return to his musical endeavors.

Following the New York shows, RUSH's tour will continue. Other notable rock acts with upcoming tours mentioned include AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, Foo Fighters, and Alice Cooper, with Metallica also scheduled for a Las Vegas residency.
