The Prince and Princess of Wales, accompanied by their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, attended a netball semifinal match at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The family watched as New Zealand secured a victory over England with a score of 61-54.

The event took place at the OVO Hydro, which is set to host the closing ceremony on Sunday night. This iteration of the Commonwealth Games featured a scaled-down program with 215 medals awarded across 10 sports, but notably included a record 47 para-sports events. Glasgow stepped in to host the tournament for the second time after the Australian state of Victoria withdrew due to escalating costs.

Earlier in the week, King Charles and Queen Camilla were present at the opening ceremony. The games have brought together athletes from 74 nations and territories, with the opening ceremony incorporating performances and cultural elements, including a nod to the Loch Ness monster.

The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, as the royal couple are known in Scotland, engaged with volunteers outside the venue.
