Rosie O’Donnell marked her first night guest-hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Monday by referencing President Donald Trump without explicitly naming him. O’Donnell, known for her long-standing public feud with Trump, performed a mock version of Trump’s signature "YMCA" dance as she took the stage.

"And if you thought the president hated ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ when it was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, buckle up, people," O’Donnell told the audience. "Buckle up."

Much of her monologue focused on her planned move to Ireland following Trump's 2024 election victory. She recounted a conversation with her child, who she said explained the move by stating, "the president of the United States hates my mother -- but in all fairness, I believe my mother hates him more."

Turning to the camera, O’Donnell directly addressed the president, saying, "Hi. I know you’re watching." However, she largely shifted to anecdotes about her life in Ireland for the remainder of her segment. Trump was mentioned only once more at the end of the monologue, again without being named.

"And you know, right now he’s in the White House crying ’cuz I haven’t mentioned him," she concluded.

O’Donnell is scheduled to guest host "Jimmy Kimmel Live" throughout the week.
