The public appearance follows recent reports suggesting that Irwin's family, including his mother Terri and sister Bindi, have expressed concerns about the rapid progression of his relationship with Scully. Sources indicate the family's reservations are not about Scully herself, whom they reportedly find pleasant, but rather about the speed at which Irwin is making plans, such as integrating her into the family business and Australia Zoo.
