Ned Donovan, grandson of famed author Roald Dahl, and his fiancée, American TikToker Megan Tomlin, eschewed traditional wedding gifts for more contemporary household items. The couple, both 32, registered for modern luxuries that included a pizza oven, a waffle maker, and a high-end knife set for their recent wedding in Somerset, England.
Their registry featured items such as an £810 Wuesthof knife block set, a £281 handmade rattan tray, and a £138 personalized ceramic ice bucket by Tricia Lowenfield. An Ooni pizza oven priced at £300 and a £112 waffle maker also appeared on the list. Other items included an £82 ceramic oval platter from Odd McClean and a £22 Cuisinart Sandwich Maker, alongside a £86 Juliska Provence napkin ring set.
Donovan, a journalist who has transitioned to a career as a police officer in the United States, and Tomlin flew from their home in Charleston, South Carolina, to hold their ceremony at Babington House, a private members' club in the English countryside. Among the guests were Donovan's half-sister, author Sophie Dahl, and his godfather, former media executive Sir Nicholas Coleridge.
Donovan was previously married to Princess Raiyah of Jordan.
