Rick Hoffman, 56, known for his role as lawyer Louis Litt on the legal drama "Suits," has revealed the methods behind his significant weight loss, which has left fans surprised by his altered appearance.

Hoffman unveiled his slimmer physique last month in a selfie shared on Instagram. In response to a fan asking about his transformation, he stated, "Intense intermittent fasting and keto diet. No alcohol."

Intermittent fasting is a dietary approach that restricts eating to specific hours of the day or days of the week. The ketogenic, or keto, diet is characterized by a drastic reduction in carbohydrate intake, aiming to shift the body into a state of ketosis where it burns fat for energy.

Fans reacted with astonishment to the actor's new look, with many commenting on how unrecognizable he appeared. Some also made playful references to his "Suits" character, with one follower posting, "You just got Litt up!"

The change was noticeable not only in his weight but also in his appearance, including longer and thicker hair, a departure from the shaved head he sported for much of his nine seasons on "Suits." His former co-star Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen, responded to his post with emojis.

Hoffman has previously spoken about personal challenges, including a difficult period with severe anxiety and OCD in his early twenties. He has credited these experiences with shaping his perspective on life and his career.
