Richard Madeley, host of "Good Morning Britain," lightheartedly admonished his colleague, weather reporter Laura Tobin, for her tardiness on Monday's broadcast.

Madeley was preparing to transition the show to the weather segment when he noticed Tobin was absent from the studio. "We have a vanishing weather girl," he remarked to co-presenter Ranvir Singh. Singh expressed surprise, asking, "Where is she hiding?"

Tobin arrived shortly thereafter, explaining that her delay was due to a brief trip to the restroom during a commercial break. "I just nipped to the loo, now everyone knows," she quipped.

This incident echoed a similar occurrence from the previous week when "Good Morning Britain" presenter Kate Garraway was caught attempting to re-enter the studio discreetly after a mistimed break. Garraway had been interviewing guests when she tried to rejoin the program unnoticed.

The episode occurred amidst a severe heatwave in the UK, with several regions experiencing prolonged dry spells. Nearly half of England had been placed under drought conditions, and temperatures had reached 34 degrees Celsius (93.2 degrees Fahrenheit) on Wednesday of that week.
