Professional wrestling icon Ric Flair, whose real name is Richard Fliehr, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against digital influencer talent agency FAM Networks, alleging the company deceived him out of his image and likeness. The lawsuit, obtained by The Independent, claims FAM Networks promised Flair a six-figure monthly revenue that was not delivered.

According to the complaint, FAM Networks presented Flair with a document he was not equipped to understand, assured him he had legal counsel when he did not, and provided only fourteen minutes for him to review the contract before securing a perpetual license to his identity. Flair signed with the New York and Los Angeles-based company in December 2025. FAM Networks represents influencers and secures corporate deals for them.

Flair, a 77-year-old two-time WWE Hall of Famer, stated in a phone interview that he has lost approximately $250,000 in revenue and intends to hold FAM Networks accountable. He described the agency as having "overpromised and underdelivered."

"I spent more than forty years building the name Ric Flair, with my body, my blood, and everything I had," Flair said. "FAM hasn’t beaten me."

The lawsuit further alleges that FAM Networks was primarily interested in Flair's unique digital identity and took control of his social media accounts. These accounts were reportedly re-categorized to generate profit, making them difficult for Flair to recover.

FAM Networks reportedly offered Flair speaking engagements and appearances, with a proposed revenue split where 90 percent of proceeds would go to Flair for collaborative projects and 10 percent for passive content. The agency also pledged to restore Flair's Facebook page, which he described as "hacked" and "demonitized," with the aim of generating six figures monthly. However, Flair claims these promises were not fulfilled.

Requests for comment from FAM Networks via email were not immediately returned. Flair, who has recently faced health challenges, indicated in the lawsuit that this legal action is "only the beginning."
