Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Hines, have been observed exhibiting affectionate behavior while visiting Belgrade, according to reports. An individual described seeing them holding hands and kissing during their tour.

The observer characterized their interactions as those of a "teenage couple in love," suggesting a reconciliation following media attention surrounding a supposed digital dalliance between Kennedy Jr. and Olivia Nuzzi. "They were super affectionate with each other. He had his arm around her and at one point kissed her," the observer stated.

Reports from 18 months prior indicated an intense relationship between Nuzzi, a journalist, and Kennedy Jr. while he was campaigning for president in 2024. Nuzzi herself has reportedly moved on and is dating Shane Smith, co-founder of Vice. The Status newsletter had previously noted sightings of Nuzzi and Smith, leading to speculation about her potential employment at Vice. However, Page Six reported in April that Nuzzi and Smith had begun dating.

Hines, an actress, had previously dismissed reports concerning Nuzzi's alleged relationship with her husband, urging consideration of the source of the information. Page Six had reported claims of an intense phone relationship between Nuzzi and Kennedy Jr. that included alleged FaceTime sessions and declarations of love. Kennedy Jr., who now serves as Secretary for Health and Human Services, has stated that he met Nuzzi only once for an interview.

During their visit to Belgrade, Kennedy Jr. and Hines were also reportedly seen examining a "Game of Thrones" exhibit.
