Bodycam footage documented the dramatic rescue of a young girl trapped in her Uvalde County home by severe flooding. A rescuer reached the family of three and their dogs, who were sheltering in their destroyed house as floodwaters rose.
The rescuer airlifted the girl to safety and assured the family that another helicopter was en route to evacuate them. The flooding in central Texas has resulted in at least two fatalities. This region experienced a similar flash flood event last summer that claimed over 130 lives.
