Outgoing Rep. Nancy Mace has launched a new YouTube talk show, titled "Get Maced," where she debuted new tattoos on both of her arms. Mace appeared sleeveless on camera for the first time in months for the show's premiere.
Mace, a Republican from South Carolina, revealed in February that she had gotten multiple tattoos. At the time, she described the experience as providing "the pain that I need to feel." She had kept the tattoos covered until recently, when she shared them on social media over the weekend.
Mace stated that she received nine tattoos in rapid succession to mark significant personal and professional events. These included the departure of staffers who had spoken negatively about her to the press and a breakup with her fiancé, among other difficult experiences.
Mace lost her primary election in June, marking the end of her time in Congress.
