Transgender reality television personality Sidney Starr, 37, has been arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses, including sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated child molestation, and sodomy. The charges stem from an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile, according to jail records.

Starr, whose real name is Sidney Favors, was arrested on August 2 following an investigation into an incident at the Embassy Suites in Hapeville, Georgia. She remains in custody at the Fulton County Jail.

The Hapeville Police Department stated that no further details would be released due to the involvement of a minor. The case has been referred to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

Starr is known for her appearances on reality shows such as "Love & Hip-Hop: New York," "The Gworls Club," and "Baddies ATL." She made history in 2021 as the first transgender person cast in a "Bad Girls Club" spin-off. Starr has also had acting roles in television series including "The Chi," "Empire," "Bommerang," and "Star."

Her arrest occurred on the same day an episode of the "Baddies" reunion, which she was scheduled to co-host, was set to air. Starr had also been an advocate for increased transgender representation on "The Zeus Network"'s "Baddies" series.
