Rapper Aitch has successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, raising more than £160,000 for the Down's Syndrome Association. The musician's fundraising efforts were inspired by his sister, Gracie, who has Down's syndrome.

The climb presented significant physical and mental challenges, with Aitch noting that while he managed the altitude and weather conditions, the "big mental challenge" was the most difficult aspect. He described the experience as demanding due to early mornings, late nights, and extreme climate changes, from rainforest to blizzard conditions. Aitch credited the shared goal for the group's perseverance, stating they likely would have turned back if not for the "such a good cause."

Down's syndrome is a genetic condition resulting from an extra chromosome, typically leading to some level of learning disability.

Aitch's commitment to supporting the Down's Syndrome Association stems from his close relationship with his sister, Gracie. This bond was also highlighted in his 2022 viral song "My G." He believes the song's popularity was due to its authentic portrayal of the sibling relationship.

"People love genuine things," Aitch stated, referring to the undeniable connection he shares with Gracie and his other sister, which he feels resonated with the public.
