Ram Rescued After Becoming Stuck in Concrete Pipe
A 97kg ram named Rambo was freed by firefighters after seeking refuge in a concrete pipe to escape nine amorous ewes.
Firefighters in Somerset, England, successfully rescued a 97-kilogram ram named Rambo after he became trapped in a concrete pipe.
Rambo had reportedly sought refuge in the pipe to escape a flock of nine ewes who were actively pursuing him. The incident occurred at Western Farm, owned by Bex Maynard.
Fire crews utilized chimney rods and ropes, along with a sheet, to maneuver and extract the ram from his confinement. He was freed unharmed on Sunday.
Maynard humorously noted that Rambo appeared unconcerned by the ordeal, suggesting he was taking a "well-earned break from his romantic duties." She expressed gratitude to the fire crews for their care and successful rescue of the ram.
Following the rescue, Maynard established a JustGiving page to raise funds for the Fire Fighters Charity and the Farmers Charity, with a goal of £1,000. A link to the donation page was provided.
