Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers has proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Cameron Rose Newell. The proposal took place on Wednesday, with Newell sharing the news and a video of the surprise on Instagram the following day.
"The best surprise of my life, right where it all started. Can’t wait to spend forever with you," Newell wrote in her social media announcement. The couple has been together since high school and continued their relationship through college, with Bowers attending Georgia and Newell attending Tennessee. They both entered the NFL in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Bowers is heading into his third year in the league. The Raiders have finished last in the AFC West in each of his first two seasons. He also dealt with a knee injury last year that placed him on injured reserve late in the season. Bowers has participated in the Raiders' offseason activities, and the team will look to improve on their record from last season when they won only three games.
