Radio host Emma Chow has announced that she is a compatible organ donor for her husband, Enzo, who is undergoing treatment for chronic kidney disease. The news, shared on Instagram Tuesday, brings the couple closer to a life-saving transplant.

"We're a match! Doctors said it was the most boring case ever because my kidneys are functioning very well," Chow said, expressing relief and happiness. She and Enzo are anticipating a surgery date before the end of the year.

Chow, a host on 2DayFM's "Breakfast with Nath & Emma," had previously shared her emotional journey with listeners. Last month, she disclosed Enzo's diagnosis and their search for a live donor. "I'm now trying to save my husband's life," she stated, acknowledging the difficulty of feeling helpless while watching him suffer.

The process involved extensive testing, with Chow highlighting the emotional toll of waiting for compatibility results. "It's the first time I might finally be able to physically help him after years of feeling like all I could do was watch him suffer," she said.

Despite the stress, Chow has focused on maintaining a sense of normalcy for their two children, Valentino, eight, and Raphael, one. "Going to every appointment, keeping things as chill as possible with the kids at home, cooking his comfort meals, snuggling on the couch as a family, and sometimes just listening," she described her efforts to provide support.

Chow married Enzo in 2015, and the couple has navigated this challenging period together, with her commitment to his long-term health and their family's well-being at the forefront. "It's so Enzo can live a long, healthy life and watch our boys grow up," she affirmed.
