Prince William and Prince Harry made separate public appearances in London on Tuesday, remaining miles apart as they reportedly have no plans to reunite during Prince Harry's visit.

Prince William visited Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain, The London Welsh School, on the west side of the city. He joined students in wishing Team Wales good luck for the upcoming Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. The Prince of Wales appeared to be in good spirits, smiling widely and participating in games on the school campus.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry was approximately 12 miles away, attending the 14th Invictus Games Foundation Conversation: From Policy to Practice at Chatham House. This engagement marked his first public appearance since arriving in the U.K. to promote the 2027 Invictus Games, which are scheduled to be held in Birmingham.

At his event, the Duke of Sussex smiled and waved to photographers. His appearance came on the same day it was revealed that he lost a lawsuit against the publisher of the UK’s Daily Mail. In 2022, Prince Harry accused Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) of unlawfully obtaining information through listening devices and private detectives between the 1990s and 2011.

The relationship between William and Harry has been estranged for years, a dynamic detailed in Prince Harry's memoir "Spare." In the book, he alleged that William was favored and had a more luxurious bedroom at Kensington Palace. Prince Harry also recounted an incident where he claimed William became physically aggressive following reports about Meghan Markle.

Despite attempts by Princess Kate Middleton to reconcile the brothers, according to royal author Christopher Andersen, William and Harry have continued to maintain distance. This was observed as recently as the 2024 funeral of their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes.

Prince Harry arrived in the UK alone. He had initially planned to travel with Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. However, he opted not to bring his family after being denied taxpayer-funded security, a privilege he lost upon departing the royal family in 2020.
