The Prince of Wales, 44, has been named the best-dressed man of the British summer, according to a recent poll. His formal morning dress, complete with a top hat and tails, worn at his cousin Peter Phillips' wedding to Harriet Sperling in June, secured him the top ranking.

His appearance at Royal Ascot also received positive reviews, where he complemented his wife Kate's ensemble with yellow flowers on his lapel.

Other men recognized for their summer style include actor Tom Hiddleston, 45, who was praised for his Ralph Lauren outfits at Wimbledon, particularly a striped dress shirt and patterned tie combination. Celebrity chef Marcus Wareing's cream suit and dusky blue tie, worn at the same event, also garnered favorable comments. Hollywood star Stanley Tucci, 65, made the top five for an off-white suit he wore at Wimbledon.

Conversely, some public figures did not fare as well in the poll. Radio DJ Greg James, 40, received only 15.6 percent of positive votes for his Wimbledon attire of beige chinos, a black blazer, and a white shirt. Paapa Essiedu and Hozier, both in all-beige outfits at Wimbledon, also failed to impress voters. Dermot Kennedy, 34, landed at the bottom of the rankings for his pastel blue trousers and cream top.

At the Chelsea Flower Show, presenter Nick Grimshaw's jeans and Bobby Brazier's trench coat also drew criticism.

The poll, which assessed various summer events including high society weddings and race days, ranked men's ensembles based on public opinion.
