Spanish police were called to a wedding party for Love Island stars Molly Smith and Tom Clare after guests, including the bride and groom, jumped into the port of Sóller, Mallorca. A friend of the couple, racing driver Seb Melrose, explained on TikTok that the intervention was due to guests jumping into the water, which is prohibited in the port area.

Melrose stated that the police arrived and issued a warning, informing the party that their lives could be in danger if a boat approached while they were in the water. He clarified that the police were not called because of intoxication, as the incident occurred early in the day. The police reportedly "loved us, had a laugh with us," and the celebrations were able to continue after the warning.

Molly, 32, and Tom, 26, were celebrating their wedding with fellow Love Island stars including Casey O'Gorman, Josh Ritchie, Sophie Piper, Mitch Taylor, and his girlfriend Hayley Griffin. Images shared on social media showed guests, including the couple, in the water and drinking.

The couple, who began dating after meeting on the All Stars version of the reality show in 2024, held their legal ceremony last month, followed by a lavish celebration in Mallorca. Their wedding reception took place at the Suculenta Port de Sóller restaurant. The couple's main wedding ceremony was held at Son Marroig, a historic venue overlooking the sea. Molly wore a beaded bridal gown, and Tom sported a white tuxedo for the ceremony.
