Phillip Schofield, once a prominent fixture on British daytime television, has experienced a significant financial downturn following his departure from ITV's This Morning in May 2023. His media company, Fistral Productions, reported earnings of just £7,248 in its latest financial year, a stark contrast to the more than £1 million he reportedly earned annually during his two-decade tenure as a co-host.

Schofield, 64, left the program after admitting to lying about an affair with a significantly younger male colleague. This admission followed his February 2020 public coming out as gay during a live interview on the same show with co-presenter Holly Willoughby. Companies House records indicate that Fistral Productions, which Schofield controls with his estranged wife Stephanie, 62, held over £3 million in assets before the COVID-19 pandemic and was generating hundreds of thousands of pounds annually.

The latest accounts also suggest that Fistral Productions dispensed with its sole employee last year. Another company associated with the couple, Fistral Properties, is reportedly £96,470 in debt, despite a recent £861,000 investment property purchase.

Despite these financial shifts, Schofield continues to reside in a six-bedroom home in Chiswick, west London, which he purchased for £2 million in August 2020 and features electric gates for security.

In 2024, Schofield attempted a television comeback with Channel 5's "Cast Away," a series where he spent ten days in isolation on an island off Madagascar. During the show, he criticized former colleagues he felt did not support him. His wife and daughters, Molly, 33, and Ruby, 30, appeared in the series, with Schofield emphasizing the unwavering support of his family. However, neither daughter has featured Schofield on their public Instagram accounts in recent years, with Molly's last photo of him dating back to July 2018 and Ruby's only post featuring her father from June 2014.

Schofield's own Instagram account is sparsely populated, following only eight accounts, including Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris, and comedian Dawn French, who is the only showbusiness contact on his list.
