The Philadelphia Phillies announced Tuesday that they have placed All-Star left-hander Jesús Luzardo on the 15-day injured list. The move comes three days after Luzardo was scratched from his scheduled start in Atlanta because of left shoulder inflammation.
Luzardo, a key member of the Phillies' pitching rotation, will be sidelined as the team navigates its upcoming schedule. The exact timeline for his return remains dependent on the progression of his recovery from the inflammation.
