Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling Attend Chinese Craftsmanship Exhibition in London

Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling attended a landmark exhibition celebrating traditional Chinese craftsmanship at Somerset House in London. The event, titled 'Reviving Craft: Reflection of the Mind,' features over 70 artists exploring China's living craft heritage. This outing marks one of their first official appearances as a married couple.

Harriet Sperling was seen in a bold, £895 red midi dress with a high neckline from Beulah London, a brand favored by the Princess of Wales. The dress featured pearl buttons and a matching belt, accessorized with brown suede heels, dainty earrings, and a black clutch. Sperling, an NHS nurse, styled her blonde hair in loose waves and opted for natural makeup.

Peter Phillips, son of Princess Anne, wore a black tuxedo and bow tie for the occasion. The couple was photographed at the opening ceremony and reception of the exhibition.

This event follows their appearance at the Burghley Horse Trials in Stamford, Lincolnshire, where they supported Zara Tindall. At the trials, Sperling wore white wide-leg trousers, a cropped black denim jacket, and a colorful printed blouse, complemented by green suede ballet flats and a blue straw tote. Phillips, in contrast, chose a more casual look of navy trousers, a shirt, and a gilet.

They were joined at the horse trials by Peter's sister Zara, their father Captain Mark Phillips, and his girlfriend Florence Standaert. Captain Mark Phillips and Standaert had also attended Peter and Harriet's wedding in June.

Phillips and Sperling married earlier this year at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire. Their wedding guests included the King, the Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and other members of the royal family. Sperling wore a white Emilia Wickstead gown and a tiara for the ceremony, with her wedding train carried by her daughter, Georgina, and Phillips's daughters, Isla and Savannah.

Sperling's official debut as a member of the Royal Family occurred shortly after the wedding at Royal Ascot. She wore a blue silk dress and cream heels, attending with her mother-in-law, Princess Anne. A sky-blue Anya Hindmarch clutch bag embroidered with her new initials, 'HP,' was also noted.
