Peter Andrews, the father of Lee Andrews, has been released from Dubai's Al Awir prison, according to reports. Peter was reportedly detained on suspicion of fraud and held in the same facility as his son. The news of his release comes after initial reports on Monday that Lee had been freed, but his father remained in custody.

Insiders have indicated that Peter has now been released and has spoken with Lee's wife, Katie Price. "Katie is aware that Peter has been let out and has spoken to him," a source told The Sun. Price's representative declined to comment when contacted by The Daily Mail.

Lee Andrews was initially taken to Lahab police station in the Dubai desert on July 10, facing allegations of fraud and a fine of £120,000. He and his father are believed to have seen each other during their detention. Sources indicated that Lee had to raise funds to cover his debts before his release. Earlier in July, reports suggested Lee had been rearrested shortly after his initial release from Al Awir prison, but was reportedly confident of his release after raising the £120,000 fine.

Katie Price had reportedly been in communication with Peter Andrews since Lee first went missing in May, and it was Peter who initially confirmed his son's arrest to The Daily Mail. Friends of Price have reportedly urged her to end her relationship with her husband, citing the ongoing drama.

Further reports have emerged concerning allegations that Lee Andrews had been attempting to sell a purported sex tape featuring himself and Katie Price for £250,000. The claims suggest Lee considered approaching companies like Vivid Entertainment, known for distributing adult content. A voice note allegedly sent by Lee to a friend before his arrest reportedly mentions needing to "get cash quickly" and discusses the potential earnings from such a tape. However, upon learning that such an act could be illegal without his wife's consent, he reportedly retracted his statements, claiming he was joking and that they would focus on their OnlyFans content.

Katie Price has strongly denied these allegations. In a statement released on Saturday, she asserted, "This story is completely untrue. I have never made such a tape and any suggestion otherwise is false and deeply misleading." She added that the claims appeared to be based on a voice note about a non-existent tape and that she felt "incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been shared publicly without any factual basis."
