Patrick Clancy Speaks Out in First Interview Since Ex-Wife's Mistrial

Patrick Clancy has spoken for the first time since his ex-wife Lindsay Clancy's murder trial resulted in a mistrial, sharing in an interview that he seeks solace by talking to their deceased children.

In the interview with 60 Minutes, scheduled to air Sunday, Clancy, 38, stated that he speaks to his children constantly, asking them to 'help me.'

Lindsay Clancy's trial concluded with a mistrial earlier this month after the jury reached an 11-1 deadlock. One juror reportedly refused to acquit her by reason of insanity.

Patrick Clancy's interview follows a period of intense scrutiny and accusations from online commentators. Some individuals have baselessly alleged his involvement in his children's deaths. In response to these claims, Clancy issued a statement through his lawyer promising 'consequences' for those perpetuating misinformation.

'Over the past months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been subjected to a relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign,' the statement read. 'This campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, so-called influencers and outright conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims.'
