Pat McAfee has offered a glimpse into the wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, an event he described as the "most spectacular evening I've ever been a part of." McAfee, speaking on "The Pat McAfee Show," recounted the celebration, noting that phones and notetaking were prohibited, limiting his shared details to memory.
He characterized the event as a unique convergence of the football world with Hollywood and Nashville. During the festivities, McAfee said Swift joined musical icons Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks on stage for a performance. He also observed Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the dance floor, despite Mahomes' recovery from a torn ACL and LCL sustained the previous season. Mahomes underwent surgery in December, with his return to play still pending clearance.
McAfee and his wife were reportedly surprised by their invitation to the wedding, with McAfee classifying himself as someone who was not expected to attend. He also noted interactions with actor Brad Pitt, who brought him a drink. He stated that Kelce appeared deeply in love and very happy throughout the celebration, which he and his wife thoroughly enjoyed.
The wedding, which took place earlier in the month, followed an earlier appearance by Swift and Kelce at the wedding of Kelce's teammate, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Laura Kruk.
