Pamela Adlon is stepping in as the guest co-host for "Live with Kelly and Mark" on Monday, July 30, 2026, joining Mark Consuelos at the desk. This follows Kelly Ripa's absence from the show as she recovers from gum graft surgery.
Consuelos announced Ripa's procedure earlier in the week, during which he has been joined by other guest co-hosts, including Kevin Jonas and Mila Kunis. Adlon, known for her role as the voice of Bobby Hill in "King of the Hill," will be the latest to fill the co-host chair.
Adlon recently spoke with Ripa and Consuelos on July 22 to discuss the new season of the Hulu animated comedy. She is also set to chat with guests K. Michelle and John David Washington during her co-hosting appearance.
The current season of "Live" is scheduled to run until August 28. The show will then take its annual summer break in August, though new content is expected to continue throughout the month. Consuelos is slated to have additional guest co-hosts in the week leading up to the summer hiatus.
Adlon's appearance comes shortly after receiving an Emmy nomination for her performance in the "King of the Hill" revival. She described the nomination as a "pinch-me moment," expressing gratitude for peer recognition and the long-standing joy the show has brought to her professional life. She noted that she went through all three of her pregnancies while voicing the character of a 12-year-old boy, and the revival 15 years later feels significant.
