The five individuals found deceased on a rural Oregon property were identified as the girlfriend of the suspected shooter, Benjamin Charles Parker, and her family members and friends, according to authorities. Parker, 36, died of an apparent suicide in a vehicle over 180 miles from the scene in Forest Grove, Washington County.

The victims include Parker's girlfriend, 26-year-old Stella Jade Kimsey; her mother, 60-year-old Rowan Karla Kimsey; and her grandmother, 85-year-old Mary Elizabeth Kimsey. Also killed were Stella Kimsey's best friend, 26-year-old Linsey Mae Haraldsen, and Haraldsen's partner, 27-year-old Alvin Raymond Chu. Rowan Kimsey owned the property where she lived with her daughter, Stella Kimsey, and Parker.

Two cats and two dogs were also found dead at the property. An additional cat that survived sustained injuries requiring euthanasia. Details regarding the manner of death for the people and animals have not yet been released, and the motive remains unclear.

The discovery was made when firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on the 15-acre property, which includes a home and farmland. Dispatch audio indicated the first responders encountered suspicious circumstances, prompting them to withdraw and await law enforcement.

Investigators tracked Parker's vehicle to Enumclaw, Washington, after his cell phone pinged in the area. Enumclaw Police Chief Tim Floyd stated that the vehicle was located behind a Safeway store, where Parker was found deceased from a presumed suicide. Detectives used cell phone data and vehicle camera footage to confirm his presence in the city.

Washington County Detective Shannon Wilde stated that investigators do not believe the killings were random. Sheriff Caprice Massey described the crime scene as one of the most complex she has encountered in her 22-year career, emphasizing that all available resources are dedicated to the investigation.

Forest Grove Fire and Rescue, whose personnel discovered the scene, released a statement identifying the victims as "our friends and our neighbors."
