Ollie Locke, known for his appearances on "Made In Chelsea," recently shared his dismay on Instagram after discovering his former custom Union Jack Jaguar XK8 had been left to deteriorate on a driveway. Locke, 39, expressed his sadness at seeing the 1997 vehicle neglected, posting a picture of the car and asking, "Who owns this now?"
He recalled letting go of the car 13 years ago, noting its significance to his personal life and his time on the reality television show. Locke, who first appeared on "Made In Chelsea" in 2011, previously described the car as part of a more flamboyant on-screen persona.
The discovery of the car comes shortly after Locke and his husband, Gareth, relocated to the countryside. The couple was evicted from their £4 million London home earlier this year due to unpaid rent, amounting to £45,000 including late fees and legal costs. Locke described the experience as "humiliating" and stated that he and Gareth are committed to repaying the debt.
In addition to the eviction, Locke recently revealed the significant financial investment he and Gareth made in their journey to parenthood. He disclosed spending approximately £500,000 on IVF and surrogacy treatments, which included the loss of six pregnancies before welcoming their twins, Apollo and Cosima, in July 2023. Locke explained that selling their former home was necessary to fund the fertility treatments, which were also impacted by delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Locke's public sharing of these events highlights a period of significant personal and financial upheaval for the reality television personality, from the state of his beloved former car to the aftermath of his London home eviction and the extensive costs associated with starting his family.
