Olivia Attwood has spoken out about her marriage to Bradley Dack, describing it as a "sham" and explaining her decision not to make it legally binding. Attwood, 35, addressed the situation in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, coinciding with a photoshoot featuring her in various racy outfits, including a sheer bodysuit and a bikini.
Attwood and Dack, who split in January, had a lavish ceremony that was broadcast by ITV but never legally finalized. Attwood revealed she did not sign any legal papers to protect her assets because the relationship encountered "teething issues" shortly after their 2023 wedding. She recounted advice from her sister, who suggested that if the roles were reversed, a man would be praised for protecting his finances, while she faced criticism.
"I did the same thing and they wanted to burn me at the f****** stake," Attwood told the magazine. "Where would I be now [if we had signed?] It’s been hard enough untangling our lives."
She described living in a "grey area" with Dack for years, attributing it to being blinded by love. The turning point came when a woman informed her of Dack's infidelity, leading Attwood to end their 12-year relationship in January. "There was nowhere left for him to hide. As soon as I knew it had happened to me, I couldn’t stay. The only person I would be cheating is myself," she stated.
Attwood accused Dack of cheating multiple times over the decade they were together. She previously wrote about standing by him despite his infidelity, her efforts to support him through therapy, and her feelings of humiliation as more details emerged. "I of course now feel like a f*****g idiot. (Especially as more things come to the surface) I never wanted to say any of this. I find the whole situation utterly humiliating," she shared previously.
Attwood also confirmed her relationship with ITV remains strong, despite reports of the broadcaster's anger over the "fake wedding" situation. She detailed how being confronted with another instance of Dack's infidelity at a screening of one of her shows in January prompted her decision to leave. "I'm not losing my job, I'm not pulling the wool over anyone's eyes. Yes I'm dating. Yes I'm getting up every single day even when I have cried all night to film the shows I love filming, record my podcast, record my radio show, shoot campaigns and somewhere in there TRY to move on," she said.
Regarding her current relationship, Attwood confirmed she is dating long-time friend Pete Wicks and expressed positive sentiments about their connection. Meanwhile, Dack has been photographed with his ex-girlfriend, fueling further speculation about his fidelity during their relationship. Attwood had previously made critical remarks about Dack's new partner, Emily Molony, calling her a woman involved a "bench warmer" and "side piece" after pictures of them together surfaced.
Earlier in the week, Attwood had alluded to releasing screenshots that she claimed proved Dack had lied to her. However, her management reportedly advised her to be the "bigger person" and refrain from releasing the information.
