Weeks after posting cryptic social media teasers, the band Oasis has officially confirmed a second leg of their reunion tour for the summer of 2027.

The band is set to play four nights at the 125,000-capacity Knebworth House in September 2027, returning to the site of their legendary 1996 performances.

Prior to their Knebworth shows, Oasis will embark on an 11-night residency at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester in June 2027. The tour will kick off in May 2027 with five dates at Glasgow's Celtic Park.

The announcement was made on Monday afternoon, accompanied by a new trailer and band photograph. A message on the band's social media read, "Start the celebrations! After a period of reflection, 'The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History' has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold."

Oasis will also perform two dates at Slane Castle in County Meath, Ireland, in September, following European dates in July and U.S. performances in August.

These newly announced dates follow the band's acclaimed 2025 reunion tour, which reportedly generated approximately £300 million at the box office.

To manage demand and prevent issues encountered previously, a new ticket registration process has been implemented, similar to the system used for the Glastonbury Festival. The registration period began on Monday with the tour announcement and will close at 16:00 BST on Thursday, September 17. Ticket sales for UK dates are scheduled to begin on Friday, September 25, Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27.

Renewed interest in Oasis has seen their second album, "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?", surpass The Beatles' biggest-selling album in the UK charts. The song "Wonderwall" from that album also became a notable anthem for England during the recent World Cup.

Excitement for a Knebworth performance has been building for years, particularly since it was rumored to be part of the band's 2025 tour itinerary. Promoters had previously applied for an events license covering potential Knebworth concerts.

Knebworth House has a history of hosting major artists, including Led Zeppelin, Queen, Paul McCartney, and Metallica. In 2022, Liam Gallagher performed there as a solo act. Oasis's 1996 performances at the venue set a record, which was later surpassed by Robbie Williams in 2003 when he drew a crowd of 375,000 over three consecutive nights. The current tour dates suggest this attendance record may be broken.
